Many years ago when Norrath was much younger a band of adventurers set forth to explore this world seeking knowledge and rare artifacts. These explorers gained much renown throughout the realm for clearing dark dungeons and assisting others in their time of need. As they explored they met many other likeminded people who held the same values and wishing to share their experiences they formed a guild and The Chosen was born.

The Chosen guild was founded on December 12th 2004 on Highkeep which then merged with Butcherblock.

Titans: Titans are key guild representatives. They provide leadership and direction for the guild and are the key decision makers and ultimate authority within the guild. Their word is The Chosen Law.

Argonauts: Argonauts work to support Titans providing a key point of contact for all levels of membership, they are the guardians of the guild (along with Leaders). They represent their personal views and those of guild members helping to balance the decision making process. Officers of this rank will normally have long standing in The Chosen and/or Everquest experience.

Philosophers: Philosophers are not officers within the guild. They are normal guild members who have expressed an interest in doing additional duties for the guild such as scheduling and coordinating raid events.
